Our Reclaimed barn beams come in 2 options: Rough sawn and hand hewn. Both are beautiful options with their own individual characters. Hand hewn timbers are hand cut, completely squared on 2 or 4 sides with tools of the hand dating back to the early 1800’s. Rough sawn timbers are circle sawn when circle saw mills became a more efficient and consistent way of squaring up timber, dating back to the early 1900’s.

We also offer barn beam skins which we cut with our sawmill to keep the original face of the beam cut at a desired thickness.
